Feeding in catfish farming is the most important task in fish farming towards a profitable catfish production. This is because, during feeding, the farmer get to observe the general welfare and growth of the fish, identifying the ones that might be ill or not growing properly, since their response to feeding might differ.

No matter the feeding style you choose to employ, it is appropriate to use what will be suitable for your pond size and fish age. Experts would recommend the use of floating pelletised feed for profitable return, where a portion is used to groom the fish.
